798 Antique Pair English Regency Candlesticks Crystal Glass Lusters Atrb John Blades

Fine Example of an Early Pair of English Regency Neoclassical Single Light Double Tier Full Lead Crystal Hand Cut Candlesticks Lustres with crisp diamond cut columns above circular star cut bases, firmly attributed to John Blades of Five Ludgate Hill, London. 

First quarter of the Nineteenth Century.  

The elegant cut crystal urn formed nozzles above a circular diamond cut crystal tray suspended with an impressive sixteen lengths of crystal decorative buttons. 

Condition: Superb condition for such early pieces, just a few flea bites on some buttons, some have been replaced with very similar examples. Nice evidence of age wear at bases underneath, complete with a later pair of Sterling Silver protective candle drip pans.
